Life Begins at 40: The Stanley and Audrey Burton Gallery Celebrates Fortieth Anniversary in January

We are now inviting all friends and supporters of the University art collection from the past four decades to enjoy an evening of art and music.
Come and celebrate with us in the illustrious company of Corot, Grimshaw, Vanessa Bell, Roger Fry, Stanley Spencer, the Gregory fellows, and, of course, Aubrey Beardsley and his contemporaries, who will be with us until February in the current exhibition ‘Fancy and Imagination: Beardsley and the Book Illustrators’.

The anniversary reception will begin at 5.30 on Thursday, 20 January 2011 at the Stanley and Audrey Burton Gallery in the Parkinson Court, University of Leeds.
