New Young Leeds 2012

New Young Leeds presents an exhibition of 13 works from 17 local artists at the start of their careers. The exhibition aims to make evident the abundance of talent the city has to offer, while supporting those artists who are the foundation of any art scene, the artists whose reputation does not yet reflect the quality of their work.

New Young Leeds 2012 is a city wide submission based exhibition curated by Philip Coyne and James Woolley, who both believe it is integral to support any art scene from the ground up.

Artists involved: Lucy Aaronson, Doug Bowen, Tavienne Bridgwater, Philip Coyne, Claire Dearnley, Four Legs(Josh Bradshaw and Sarah Cowperthwaite), Hondartza Fraga, Verity Hatfield, Daisie Main, James Maxfield, Maeve Molloy, James Schofield, Naomi Tattum, Eleni Tongidou, Karl Vickers and James Woolley
