Exhibition: Finders Seekers at Project Space Leeds

13 artists take part in this unique, four day exhibition.
Stepping back from their own work, the focus shifts to the inspiration behind it. The collection/collector.

Finders Seekers blends the very different interests of each artist in to one room.

"With each of us showcasing our collections side by side we've notice links and similarities despite obvious differences of interest from artist to artist. There's a lot to be seen in this exhibition. Each one of us has 'curated' our own individual sections, and worked within the space to combine them. We still keep finding ourselves looking at each others collections, there's so much to find!".

The result is an exciting leap away from the final piece, and back to the reasons behind it.

Project Space Leeds is an independent, artist led, contemporary art space which shows work by artist across the UK and abroad as well as working with curators outside it's base in Leeds. The exhibition Finders Seekers has been curated by artists based at Leeds Met. "We feel that Project Space is a perfect venue to host the first showing of this exhibit, and love it's aims and objectives!".
Finders Seekers will also show in London in 2012.
