'Why do we call it the Spanish Guitar?: Talk and recital by Tom Sitton

In connection with the Gallery's current exhibition 'Carlos Nadal; Paintings in Yorkshire Collections', Tom Sitton will give a short talk and demonstration behind the identity and idiosyncrasy of the Spanish Guitar, followed by a solo recital.
Leave your troubles at the door for an afternoon and become immersed in Tom's virtuosic and heartfelt playing surrounded by Nadal's inspirational art.

Tom has worked all over the world as a performer, composer and artistic director. Having played for three royal families and written for contemporary dance and theatre companies in three different continents he is most at home on stage be it a festival, concert hall or underground club. He has led the National Youth Guitar Ensemble, been invited to play with the European Guitar Ensemble, played on BBC Radio and praised in the national press.

Free event, all welcome.

Acoustic performance in the exhibition space. Seating limited and available in order of arrival. Please arrive in time to avoid disappointment.
