The purpose of this section of the forum is to supplement LVAF's listserve service - a yahoogroup that allows members to post announcements about the visual arts - which you can subscribe to by visiting http://www.lvaf.org.uk/. We also want to provide a space for the discussion of the material posted through the listserve and hope that this section of the forum will provide that.

Please feel free to post any information about forthcoming events, exhibitions, opportunities and so on relating to the visual arts in Leeds (even if you have already sent through on the LVAF yahoogroups - it will not appear automatically on here). We encourage healthy debate, constructive criticism and critical discourse about any of the topics posted and users should understand that this is what this space is for.

Any offensive or inappropriate comments will be removed by the moderators. If you read anything that you think should be flagged to the attention of the moderators then please send a message to a moderator using the board's PM service.
