Rapidly becoming a staple calendar event for all those who appreciate art, the Leeds Art Exhibition and Sale is fast approaching and it’s not one to miss. Whether you are an avid art fan or just like a piece because “it looks good” you will have a truly enjoyable experience at this event. With such a huge variety of art on display from modern, contemporary and abstract to traditional styles in a whole range of media such as oils, photography, ceramics, acrylic etc there really is something to suit all tastes.

Not only can you peruse the display of over 900 exhibits which are all hung, framed and available for you to buy, you can also enjoy a fresh tea or coffee and delicious handmade dessert from the onsite Art Cafe. There will also be a fabulous Pop Up Gift Fair running alongside the exhibition on the Saturday and Sunday selling beautiful gifts and homewares - perfect for the lead up to Christmas shopping! Entry to the event is just £3 and this includes a programme. A percentage of all the art sales are donated to St Gemma’s Hospice and over £180,000 has been raised towards the care they provide since the exhibition began 13 years ago.

To be held at The Grammar School at Leeds in Alwoodley, it’s an opportunity to start or expand your art collection and buy affordable, original pieces created by both professional and up and coming regional talents. Art prices range from just £10 to £800 and can make perfect Christmas, birthday or anniversary gifts.

“Whatever the reason, buying art is fun, invigorating and makes a great addition to any home, office or business”.

Opening times: Thursday 24 to Saturday 26 October 10am - 6pm and Sunday 27 October 10am - 4pm.
