Papermaking and Bookbinding workshop with Jade Monserrat at West Yorkshire Print Workshop

Experiment with paper-making and recycling from processed fibres in a glorious vat of pulp, to which colour and various materials can be added. Use your handmade papers, decorative papers and your own sketches to design and make your unique sketchbook, personalized notebook or diary.

Clear and concise demonstrations of the papermaking and bookmaking processes will be provided throughout the workshop, accompanied by examples of assembled books, clear handouts and links to an extensive online directory of inspiring examples, resources and relevant material stockists.

Materials will be provided but please bring along sheets of paper, including abandoned sketches and such. Be sure to bring along inclusions for papermaking including flower petals, photos, found materials...the list is endless, and the process addictive!

This workshop is notably inclusive, accessible and easy to continue at your own pace, in your own environment.
