Here Be Lions! - Build your own Virtually Real Universe

A long long time ago, maps often had vast areas marked ‘Hic sunt leones’ (There are lions here), which often meant that the mapmaker did not really know what exactly was beyond the horizon: a place of wonders and unknown dimensions, where lions, dragons and giants live. Now it’s your turn to make this imagined land real: a chance to turn your world upside down and populate it with strange buildings, plants, robots, fairies and monsters!
Join us in exploring the otherworldly artworks in the Virtually Real exhibition and have fun getting creative. Let your imagination run wild - create a 3D fantasy world in the cavernous Parkinson Court using a range of exciting materials. Bring recycled boxes or rolls to build your parallel universe or even your favourite toy (max. 3-4 inches) to find a great place for it in this exciting new world!
Drop-in activity for all ages, no booking necessary.
