Yorkshire in your own words. A creative writing workshop.

It's all about Yorkshire this summer, so why not take part in this creative writing workshop and put down onto paper your thoughts on 'Gods own County!'

The Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery, University of Leeds
Saturday 12th July 2014 1.30 - 4pm

Based on The Stanley & Audrey Burtons Gallery's current My Yorkshire display and material from the University Library's Special Collections, this creative writing workshop will celebrate the everyday life, history and diversity of the county.

The workshop will consider texts written by local writers both old and new, alongside the works on display within the Gallery to help inspire some new Yorkshire-themed writing!

Join creative writing practitioner Suzannah Evans for this relaxing and creatively stimulating workshop, open to all, whether you are an artist interested in writing, or a writer with a love of art. All levels of experience are welcome. Suitable for all ages over 16.

This is a free workshop but places are limited so please book in advance.
