Introduction to Letterpress course with Nick Loaring at West Yorkshire Print Workshop

Learn to print letterpress! This course will show you all the basics of setting and printing wood and lead type, to create posters, books and stationery. After the course you can then become a member of WYPW and continue using our letterpress facilities on an open-access basis, with technical support on-hand if you need it.

Nick Loaring is from The Print Project - a letterpress printing collective based at the world famous 1in12 Club in Bradford, West Yorkshire - keeping the skills and art of letterpress alive! They are committed to producing work which is incredible to read, feel and touch and to working on projects which are inspiring, responsible and thought provoking.
