Printmaking Teacher Training Sessions at West Yorkshire Print Workshop

Our NEW teacher training sessions offer practical, hands on training for teachers and educators in a wide variety of simple, effective printmaking techniques, using water-based inks and non-toxic materials. It is a great way to learn new skills to pass on to others, or to refresh your knowledge of a particular process. Each monthly session will teach you a different technique, and the classes will be kept small to ensure everyone is catered for. Sessions are booked individually, but there is nothing to stop you booking onto all five!

£20 per session.

Session 1 – Thursday 22nd November 2012, 6 - 8pm

Monoprinting using thin plastic and water-based inks to create vibrant, expressive one-off prints.

Session 2 – Thursday 24th January 2013, 6 – 8pm

Printing using household and found materials including wallpaper, cardboard and bubble wrap.

Session 3 – Thursday 28th February 2013, 6 – 8pm

Create simple drypoint prints using our portable printing press, thin plastic and paper stencils.

Session 4 – Thursday 21st March 2013, 6 – 8pm

Combining processes - use a combination simple print processes to create a finished print to take home.
