WYPW Screen Beverley Addy presents ‘Lives’ Special Screening and Talk at West Yorkshire Print Workshop Beverl10

'Lives' is a series of seven challenging short arts films inspired by abusive relationships and created by Yorkshire words and images artist Beverley Addy. It was Lottery funded through the Arts Council and was originally made for 50 screenings in pubs, shops and other everyday venues in its full form. The films feature strong langauge and challenging subject matter and audience members must be 16+ years old.

Beverley Addy will give a short talk about her film and her reasons for making it. Watch a short trailer for the film from the Guardian website http://gu.com/p/36xvn

We will also have live music by Media Sounds who produced the soundtrack to the film. Working as Media Sounds, Colne Valley duo Stuart Comins and Shelley Aldred composed and recorded the original soundtrack for Lives. On June 15th, they will be playing with their band Running With Scissors, accompanied by third band member Sam Dilai. Click here to listen to an example of their music
