Painting Supplies
I'm new to Leeds. Anyone got any suggestions for places to buy painting equipment?

Painting supplies in Leeds
It depends on the quality you're after. If it's basic, cheap-as-chips then your looking at The Works bookshop/stationary store in the Merrion Centre, or Homebargains, also in the Merrion Centre.
If money is no object, then Gadsby's on New Briggate, just a bit further towards town and on the opposite side of the road to the Grand Theatre.
Clas Ohlson (a Swedish shop like Ikea but for all those little things that would come in handy and which the shop has just opened in Leeds) also on New Briggate / The Headrow, sells paint and supplies, but I don't know about the quality of this paint or supplies yet.
If your lucky, they sometimes have some things in Kirkgate market, but there isn't a dedicated shop - if your into crafts (sewing knitting etc.) as well though, that's the place for supplies.
Then there's also Hobbie craft, expensive but good quality supplies, over at Crown Point (which is on the border of the Hunslet area, a way out of the city centre).
If you're more patient, ebay and the net are better places to source supplies from!
