Tales from the North: And afternoon of storytelling and doodling

An afternoon of fairy tales inspired by the world of Kay Nielsen exhibited in current exhibition 'Fancy and Imagination: Beardsley and the Book Illustrators'. Stories from the cold regions of Northern Europe, including Russia's Baba Yaga, Scotland's deathly kelpie, and the robust Thor from Norse legend. Martha will settle in her storytelling chair and begin her tales at 2pm.
Free, drop-in event, suitable for all ages. No booking necessary.
